Cambridge IGCSE for Diverse Learning Needs

Ages 16 - 17 years

AMEDEO COLLEGE STUDENT AND TEACHER.png

The Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is one of the most respected and widely recognised secondary school qualifications in the world. Accepted by universities across more than 160 countries, Cambridge IGCSE demonstrates academic achievement at the highest secondary level.

At Amedeo College, our IGCSE learners receive the same specialist assisted learning support they have relied on throughout their schooling. Our teachers understand that the demands of IGCSE — extended essays, practical examinations, timed assessments — can be particularly challenging for neurodiverse learners. We prepare our learners thoroughly, building exam technique alongside content knowledge.

We also assist eligible learners in applying for assessment accommodations — such as extended time, a reader, or a scribe — through Cambridge's Special Consideration process. Our educational psychologists provide the required documentation and support.
