Amedeo College coding and robotics

Coding & Robotics

Students who are able to learn how to code today will strengthen their critical thinking skills, develop a better logical and computational thinking, and will be above average in analytical thinking and in teamwork.

At Amedeo College, we make Coding & Robotics fun, exciting and tangible, making it easy to engage the learner's attention.  We prepare our South African children for their future to be able to compete globally.

The ICT (Information and Communications Technology) combines STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).  This is designed to encourage discussions and problem-solving among students, developing both practical skills and appreciation for collaboration.  Rather than teach the 4 disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.

At Amedeo College, we appreciate that we are living in an ever-changing, increasingly complex world, it's more important than ever that our learners are prepared with knowledge and skills to solve problems, make sense of information, and understand how to gather and evaluate evidence to make decisions.

The Coding and Robotics subject is aimed at guiding and preparing our learners to solve problems, think critically, work collaboratively and creatively, function in a digital and information-driven world, apply digital and ICT skills and to transfer these skills to solve everyday problems.

Amedeo College Robotics and Coding

At Amedeo, we help learners develop their understanding of STEM concepts with real-world application (practical insight). â€‹
